Employee Spotlight: Andrew Pollack

We invited some of our team members to share their thoughts on what working at Christopher Street Financial means to them.  We begin with this brief essay by one of our Financial Planning Associates, Andrew Pollack, who is celebrating his one year anniversary working at CSF.

When I first learned about Christopher Street Financial, I felt an immediate pull to the organization. As someone who identifies as part of the LGBTQ+ community, the idea of working at a firm that not only serves our community but was built with us in mind was deeply compelling, and I knew I had to learn more about it. After just a few conversations with members of the team, I knew this wasn’t just a place where I could build my career, it was a place where I could be my full self while helping others do the same, especially when it comes to something as personal and powerful as financial planning.

What drew me in - and continues to inspire me every day - is Christopher Street's unwavering commitment to inclusion, understanding, and empowerment. We are a firm that recognizes how the financial journey can look different for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families. Whether it’s navigating complex legal landscapes, planning for a family, or simply finding an advisor who sees and respects your whole identity, Christopher Street meets people where they are. That kind of support is rare. It’s meaningful. And it’s necessary.

I’m proud to work at a place that doesn’t ask me to check any part of myself at the door. Here, authenticity is celebrated, and our mission is clear: to help people live fuller, more secure lives on their own terms.

Working at Christopher Street isn’t just a job - it’s a way to honor the progress that’s been made, contribute to the ongoing work that still needs to happen, and stand proudly in a space where my values and my profession are aligned. As I celebrate my one-year workiversary during Pride Month, I feel more empowered than ever to make my voice heard and am proud to be part of an organization that helps lift me up.
